The Midnight Club is a podcast designed for those of us who spend several hours per week training for events, many times sacrificing time from friends, family and work, and are happy to just be out there, giving it their all, despite not reaching a podium finish, or sometimes not finishing at all. The origin of the name comes from the original structure of an Ironman race. Participants would start at 7 am and have 17 hours to complete the course by midnight. While I find inspiration by well accomplished endurance athletes, and try to follow their example, I also find motivation by the average athlete that has put in so much work just to participate in an event. I still would love to interview people who have and are accomplishing great things. However, I also want to talk to regular folks many of us have not heard of, and get their stories, too.

Clinton Timmerman (not this one) joins Clinton Timmerman (not this one) from Glenwood Springs, Colorado, after skiing in Vail and Telluride, to talk about skiing and what type of endurance sports Clinton Number Two may find of interest. Races like the Grand Traverse would be more of his style, as would the biathlon.
Number Two dreams of skiing Alyeska, Alaska, Jackson Hole and Big Sky. He also wants to figure skate.
We discuss genetic predispositions to cold, the Uberman race and proper training.
Clinton Number Two also talks about the redeeming qualities of New Jersey and his favorite James Bond movie.
